John Dove has for over 12 years, has been helping aspiring lawyers develop their advocacy skills and gain the experience needed to succeed in the legal profession. Speed Mooting was founded by criminal barrister, John Dove, in 2012, he started with the National Speed Mooting Competition, an innovative event designed to make mooting more accessible and focus entirely on oral advocacy. Since then, we have grown to host a range of advocacy and mooting competitions, both online and in person, ensuring that participants of all backgrounds have the opportunity to develop their skills in a challenging yet supportive environment.
