HELLO I’M TAZ
I am a practising British barrister, part-time YouTuber and legal career expert, living in the UK 🇬🇧
- I graduated from The University of Sheffield with a Bachelors (LL.B) and Masters (LL.M) degree in Law (Distinction).
- I graduated from BPP University after completing the Bar Professional Training Course (Distinction).
- I secured scholarships from both Lincoln’s Inn and BPP University for the Bar Professional Training Course.
- I am a published academic in Lincoln’s Inn Student Law Journal.
- I am an alumni of Lincoln’s Inn Pupillage Foundation Scheme.
- Before securing pupillage, I completed 5 pupillage cycles and interviewed at some of the top sets across the UK including Exchange Chambers, Park Square Barristers, 2 Bedford Row, and Lincoln House Chambers.
- I accepted an offer for pupillage with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) in 2022.
- In 2024, I qualified as a practising criminal barrister.
Taz has been on the legal path for over a decade and during that time he has sent out countless pupillage applications and attended hundreds of pupillage interviews across 5 cycles. He has spent the past few years providing free support to Bar students by reviewing their pupillage applications and preparing candidates for pupillage interviews. During that time, he perfected a proven system which has helped hundreds of aspiring barristers secure pupillage. The challenges Taz faced breaking into the legal profession motivated his passion to found Lexstery to support fellow aspiring lawyers on their journies into the legal profession in England and Wales.
