MEET THE FOUNDER

HELLO I’M TAZ 👋

I am a practising British barrister, part-time YouTuber and legal career expert, living in the UK 🇬🇧

Facts about me
  • I graduated from The University of Sheffield with a Bachelors (LL.B) and Masters (LL.M) degree in Law (Distinction).
  • I graduated from BPP University after completing the Bar Professional Training Course (Distinction).
  • I secured scholarships from both Lincoln’s Inn and BPP University for the Bar Professional Training Course.
  • I am a published academic in Lincoln’s Inn Student Law Journal.
  • I am an alumni of Lincoln’s Inn Pupillage Foundation Scheme.
  • Before securing pupillage, I completed 5 pupillage cycles and interviewed at some of the top sets across the UK including Exchange Chambers, Park Square Barristers, 2 Bedford Row, and Lincoln House Chambers.
  • I accepted an offer for pupillage with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) in 2022.
  • In 2024, I qualified as a practising criminal barrister.

I’ve been on the legal path for over a decade and during that time I have sent out countless pupillage applications and attended hundreds of pupillage interviews, across 5 cycles. I have spent the past few years providing free support to Bar students by reviewing pupillage applications and preparing candidates for pupillage interviews during which I have perfected a proven system which has helped aspiring barristers succeed in the pupillage process.
